Commissioner Update:
Happy New Year. Several items to share with the TAIAO community. Foremost, we have applied to be a member of NFHS and our application will be considered when they meet this coming summer as they only consider applications twice a year.
NFHS is an organization that sponsors certain tournaments and meets to which TAIAO organizations would be able to participate if we were members. They also have instructional and information resources available to organizations who are members.
We will be seeking this year to also join the UIL 1A Coaches Association as this will provide our members contacts with 1A schools for scheduling and provide a closer working relationship with public schools whose size mirrors most of our membership.
We have started the process of working with TCAF to join their Fine Arts competition for One Act Plays and are seeking to forge alliances where available that would provide our members the opportunity to participate in additional events.
We have pushed the E-Sports from a winter sport to a spring sport and there will be additional on this schedule change forthcoming in early January.

Sport Updates:
Spring sport registrations open on January 6th. Click here to register
BASKETBALL: We need to remind all basketball teams that registration closes January 10th and all payments and rosters are due by Jan 24th. We will seed the tournaments in late January with only those who have paid and submitted rosters. Click here for access to the Detailed Tournament Information Page.
FOOTBALL: We apologize again for the Football All Star Jerseys not being available and if you have not already received your jerseys we would ask that you email [email protected].
SOCCER: We will be posting detailed information for the soccer schedule in mid January.
TRACK: We are still working on finalizing the track meet location. We are currently working with Belton ISD and Abbot ISD on locations. We will know more in mid January.
Important billing note: TAIAO is unable to invoice for any sport until the organization has registered for the sport online. Individual sports like Track, Golf & Tennis will be invoiced once we have received the team rosters. Please request a payment link if you would like to make an online payment by emailing [email protected]
