We are preparing for fall sports postseason play. In this month’s update, we will go over what is required to participate in postseason play, registration for winter sports, update on new sports and other general information..
In This Edition:
Commissioner Update:
Football and volleyball team rosters are due today (Sept 1st). Rosters need to have been both submitted to TAIAO using our online roster forms and updated in MaxPreps. We will be using these rosters to assign teams to divisions and regions.
Reminder: Cross Country Rosters are due by Sept 20
You need to file a transfer form for any new Sophomore – Senior athlete in your program (regardless of where they played varsity sport the previous year). Furthermore, any athlete who will turn 19 years old before May 31, 2025 needs to get an exemption to be eligible to play.
We are still needing volunteers to participate on the following committees: Golf, Tennis, Soccer and Track. Please email commissioner@taiao.org
We have collected about 90% of the projected 2024-2025 Membership Dues and as of Sept 1st they will be $400.00 (if paid before the end of November) and $450.00 after December 1st. Dues can be paid online (by clicking here)
Registration for all fall sports (football, volleyball and XC has closed). We have extended registration for Cheer. If you missed registration, please email commissioner@taiao.org and discuss the late registration process.
It is imperative that all programs make their payments by October 15 or they will not be eligible for postseason play. Again, rosters and full payment are a requirement to play in all postseason events.
Finally, please be aware that we have a date for all events for next season. Each sports page, as well as the calendar, has been updated to reflect the postseason dates.
God Bless … Coach Golemon

Member Spotlight:
I would like to thank Jana Barker of the San Antonio Patriots for stepping up to serve on our football committee for another year. This season she will be chairing the committee which is often seen as a form of cruel and unusual punishment because one has to deal with football coaches! We have more varsity and junior high teams than ever in TAIAO’s history and Jana brings a level of professionalism that will ensure all the “t’s” are crossed.
Sport Updates:
Please register for cheer and cross country by clicking here. Soccer, basketball and E-Sports registrations are now open as well.
We realize that TAIAO organizations would like to schedule other TAIAO organizations and need to know which sports that each sport fields. We have placed a list of TAIAO organizations and the sports they offer on our website under the “Contact” tab. You can view this list by clicking here.
Important billing note: TAIAO is unable to invoice for any sport until the organization has registered for the sport online. Sports like XC, Track, Golf & Tennis will be invoiced once we have received the team rosters. Please request a payment link if you would like to make an online payment by emailing admin@taiao.org
