Commissioner Update:

We walked away from the Annual Meeting with some great suggestions and progress is still being made on finalizing the sports plans for each sport.  When they are completed, you will find them located on our website by clicking here.

We are still needing volunteers to participate on the following committees: Golf, Tennis, Soccer and Track.  Please email commissioner@taiao.org if you are interested; or better yet, nominate someone (just don’t expect to be invited to Thanksgiving dinner).

The 2024-2025 Membership Dues can be paid online (by clicking here) and the invoices have already been sent.  They will remain $350.00 if paid before July 31st.  From August 1 onward they will be $400.00 (if paid before the end of November) and $450.00 after December 1st.  

YOU NEED TO REGISTER FOR EVERY SPORT! You will not be invoiced for a sport until you have registered.Registration has opened for all of the fall sports (football, cross country, volleyball and cheer)  You can register by clicking here.  If you are uncertain about your ability to field a team, please register and pay. TAIAO issues refunds if your team never makes.

Please do not wait to submit any transfer, play up or play down forms.  These can take a week to process (or longer).  If you have any

Member Spotlight:

This month I would like to highlight Katy Karasek from BVCHEA who has been working diligently for months to assist us with normalizing our sports plans.  TAIAO had four sports plans in January of this year and thanks to Katy we will have 11 by the end of this month.

Both she and I recognize there will need to be fine tuning moving forward but without Katy there would be no basis from which to begin the process of editing.

We realize that TAIAO organizations would like to schedule other TAIAO organizations and need to know which sports that each sport fields.  We are working on a web based solution that ties in with our registration system so that we can auto populate this information on our website.
