August 2024 Newsletter

In This Edition:

Commissioner Update:

We have the final sport plans for each sport located on the website,  You will find them by clicking here.  Sports plans can be altered by the Commissioner at any time but it is my desire to only make cosmetic or procedural changes and all others to be handled next summer.

We are still needing volunteers to participate on the following committees: Golf, Tennis, Soccer and Track.  Please email [email protected]

We have collected about 80% of the projected 2024-2025 Membership Dues and as of August 1st  they will be $400.00 (if paid before the end of November) and $450.00 after December 1st.  Dues can be paid online (by clicking here)

Registration for football and volleyball have closed.  If you missed registration, please email  [email protected] and discuss the late registration process. Registration for cheer and XC will stay open until Sept 1st.

It is now time to be putting together your rosters and submitting them by clicking here.  Each sport has a different due date for rosters so be sure to check your sport specific page where you can get specific information on rosters.  Rosters are not due at the time of registration.  You should submit them closer to the deadline if you believe they might change.

Finally, please be aware that we have a date for all events for next season. Each sports page, as well as the calendar, has been updated to reflect the postseason dates.

God Bless … Coach Golemon

Member Spotlight:

This month hats off to April Behnke who has taken on the daunting task of overseeing TAIAO’s first postseason Cheer tournament.  This has been almost a two year commitment to getting this off the ground and we look forward to a great event in November and having cheerleaders for our Football All Star game as well.

Sport Updates:

Please register for cheer and cross country by  clicking here.  Soccer and basketball registrations will open Sept. 1st.

We realize that TAIAO organizations would like to schedule other TAIAO organizations and need to know which sports that each sport fields.  We have placed a list of TAIAO organizations and the sports they offer on our website under the “Contact” tab.  You can view this list by clicking here.

Important transfer note: Any high school athlete that enters your program as a sophomore through senior needs to have a transfer form completed online. If the high school athlete was homeschooled and enters as a freshman we strongly encourage you to submit a transfer form to ensure they are properly being classified.
