Registration serves several purposes:
- It gives TAIAO the team contact and billing contact information for each organization. (These often change per sport throughout the year and from year to year)
- It allows TAIAO to discern if the organization TAIAO dues have been paid (No team can participate without being a TAIAO member in good standing. Paying dues is a part of being in good standing.)
- It alerts TAIAO if the team a TAIAO member or not. (Some of our sport postseason events have been invitationals in the past when participation is low. For most sports, TAIAO no longer has invitational status)
- It tells TAIAO the organization wants to participate in the sport and which teams (JH / Varsity, Boys / Girls) and how many athletes.
- It alerts TAIAO to add them to a list of teams that need to submit rosters with athlete Dates of Birth.
