Due to the high probability of thunderstorms in the North Regional, we are moving the Varsity competition to Friday, April 19th.
The location remains the same at Keene’s track on Friday. No one can show up on the track or the field or stadium any earlier than 4pm. So please stay in the parking lot until 4pm!
New North Schedule:
Friday April 19th Varsity only
Scratch meeting at 4:30 pm.
Field Events start no later than 5:00 pm
3200m will start at 5:30 pm
Running events will start 20 minutes after field events.
Saturday April 20th JH only
Scratch meeting at 8:30am
2400 starts at 9:30am
Field events will start at 9:00 am
Running events will start at 11:30 am.

The State Meet has been moved to La Vega in Waco Texas as of 4/9/24 due to an inability to utilize the Lockhart track. Address is 555 TX-340 Loop, Waco, TX 76705

DIVISIONS:
TAIAO divisions are established for each men’s and women’s varsity team (not junior high) based upon the number of total varsity (this includes JV) athletes registered to attend. Divisions do not take into account age, skill or any other variable.
The upper division (Div I) this year is comprised of teams with 11 or more athletes while Div II will be those with 10 or fewer.

ATHLETEÂ / COACH WRIST BANDS:
Every coach / volunteer and athlete will need to be wearing (or on their person) a wristband. Both of these will be issued at the entry table to the head coach.

ADMISSION:
Ticket sales will be conducted at the entry of each facility and can be purchased in advance online for the lower rate of $10 for adults and $5 for students (ages 6-18 with children under 5 are free) Â by clicking here.Â
Daily admission at the event will be $15 for adults and $10 for students (ages 6-18 with children under 5 are free). We will not be accepting cash. Credit, Debit or Venmo are accepted.Â
There are no family passes for either event.

ADVANCING TO THE STATE FINALS
It is a requirement to compete in the regional meets to quality for the state meet.
Athletes who finish in the top 12 in each event from the North and South regionals (24 total per event) will advance to the State Finals on April 27th.

TOURNAMENT SHIRTS/FAN GEAR:
Order online by midnight April 4th to 100% guarantee and pick up at the regional tournament. We will keep the online store open until all items are sold. Items not sold online will be sold at the regional events.
