October 2025 Newsletter

In This Edition:

Commissioner Update:

Heads up that if you have a player ejected from a JV or Varsity game you are required to fill out at TAIAO Incident form.  By rule, your athlete is required to miss the next game. You can appeal the suspension but must provide the officials involved contact information or the appeal will not be heard.

Friendly reminder as our postseason events start in October that all attending TAIAO events purchase their tickets online to avoid long lines and to remember that we DO NOT accept cash.  TAIAO accepts all major credit/debit cards, Venmo, CashApp and PayPal.

TAIAO has begun the process of reviewing all varsity and middle school rosters.  The purpose of this is to help ensure organizations are properly classifying their athletes.  It has become evident this is necessary to ensure equitable compliance.

Lastly, please remember to pose any questions you have about your sport to the committee members for your sport as our admin often does not have the answer to sport specific questions.  You can find a list of committee members and their contact information on our website.

God Bless … Coach Golemon

Announcements:

The football championship and All Star game will be held at San Marcos Academy this year.  We were unable to secure the Bryan location that has been our home for the past decade.

The middle school Gridiron Bowl games will be Saturday, November 8th.  Please be aware that should your varsity have a playoff game it might conflict with the Gridiron Bowl games; however, the Gridiron games will not be rescheduled.

If you have a cheer team that would like to compete in the TAIAO cheer competition we are still accepting registrations.  Please contact commissioner@taiao.org directly to register.

E-Sports will take place this year.  Each organization can enter up to two three or four person teams.  There will only be a single division and will be considered a male sport thereby allowing females to be in the team per TAIAO rules.  Register here by Dec 14th
