Dues payments to TAIAO primarily contribute to supporting the overall functioning of the league. These payments help cover various expenses, including administrative costs, facility maintenance, and organizational logistics.
It’s important to note that sports fees alone do not fully fund most state tournaments organized by TAIAO. To bridge the gap, the league relies on revenue generated from gate receipts and the sale of other items during events. This diversified income stream ensures the financial sustainability of the league and enhances the overall experience for participants in state tournaments.
TAIAO currently has only two part-time employees to assist with all administrative elements of running the league. All committee members and those who assist the league are volunteers. Currently, the TAIAO Commissioner and Steering Committee members are not compensated.
TAIAO is a non-profit 501(C)(3)
